LingoUnify is a language learning platform that provides tools for users to learn languages through various content sources. This page describes how rights holders can request the removal of content from our platform.

We take intellectual property rights seriously and will act promptly on valid takedown requests.

User-Uploaded and URL-Imported Content

LingoUnify allows users to upload documents (such as .txt or .epub files) and to import publicly accessible article URLs (for example by clicking preview cards or pasting links) for personal language learning purposes. URL-imported full article body content is processed transiently and is not stored as long-term user library content. For browse/news feeds, we may temporarily cache preview metadata (such as title, source link, and thumbnail) for service performance. We act as a platform and do not pre-screen, review, or endorse content provided or selected by users.

If you are a copyright holder and believe that a user has uploaded your copyrighted material, or imported and displayed your article content without authorisation, you may request its removal by contacting us using the process described below.

Upon receiving a valid copyright takedown request for user-uploaded or URL-imported content, we will:

Review the request and verify it contains the required information.
Remove or disable access to the reported content, including related cached previews where applicable.
Notify the user whose content was removed.
Take action against repeat infringers, which may include account suspension or termination.

Radio Station Listings

LingoUnify also provides access to publicly available internet radio stations through the Radio Browser open directory. We do not host, produce, or control any radio content. All streams are provided by third-party broadcasters.

Upon receiving a valid takedown request for a radio station, we can:

Remove a specific station from appearing in our radio directory.
Block specific stations from appearing in search results.
Prevent the station from being played through our platform entirely.

Please note that we do not control the Radio Browser directory itself. If you want a station removed from Radio Browser, you should contact them directly at radio-browser.info.

How to Submit a Request

Send your takedown request via email to:

Please include the following information:

Your name and contact details (so we can respond to you).
The exact content location (for example article URL, imported URL, station URL, or other identifier) you want removed.
Your relationship to the content (e.g., station owner, rights holder, representative).
The reason for your request (e.g., copyright concern, unauthorized import/listing, content issue).
Any supporting documentation that demonstrates your rights or authority (if applicable).

What to Expect

We aim to acknowledge all takedown requests within 48 hours.
Valid requests will be actioned promptly, typically within 5 business days.
If we need additional information, we will contact you at the email address you provide.
You will receive confirmation once the requested action has been taken.
