Overview

LingoUnify subscription payments are processed by Paddle.com, our Merchant of Record. Paddle handles all billing, payment processing, tax compliance, and refund requests on our behalf.

This policy explains how refunds and cancellations work for LingoUnify subscriptions.

Free Trial

We offer a free tier that lets you try LingoUnify before subscribing. We encourage you to explore the free features to make sure LingoUnify is right for you before upgrading to a paid plan.

Subscription Cancellation

You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. When you cancel:

  • Your subscription remains active until the end of your current billing period.
  • You will not be charged for the next billing cycle.
  • You can continue using premium features until your current period ends.
  • After your subscription ends, your account reverts to the free tier.

No refund is issued for the remaining time in your current billing period when you cancel.

14-Day Money-Back Guarantee

In accordance with Paddle's buyer protection policy, you have the right to cancel your subscription and receive a full refund within 14 days of your initial purchase, without needing to give any reason.

To request your refund within this 14-day period, simply contact us at support@lingounify.com with your account email address.

Refunds After 14 Days

After the 14-day period, refunds may still be granted in the following circumstances:

  • Technical issues: If you experience persistent technical problems that prevent you from using the service, and we are unable to resolve them.
  • Accidental purchase: If you were charged by mistake (e.g., duplicate subscription).

Refunds are generally not provided after 14 days for:

  • Change of mind after using the service extensively.
  • Failure to cancel before the next billing cycle (please set a reminder if needed).

How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please contact us at support@lingounify.com with:

  • Your account email address.
  • The reason for your refund request.
  • Any relevant details (e.g., transaction ID from your Paddle receipt).

We aim to respond to all refund requests within 2-3 business days. If approved, refunds are processed by Paddle and typically appear on your statement within 5-10 business days, depending on your payment method.

Paddle as Merchant of Record

Paddle.com Market Limited acts as the Merchant of Record for all purchases. This means:

  • Paddle handles your payment and issues receipts.
  • Paddle collects and remits applicable taxes (VAT, sales tax, etc.).
  • Your bank statement will show a charge from "Paddle" or "Paddle.net".
  • Refunds are processed through Paddle's systems.
